Dileep is too busy
After the success of passenger, Dileep is busy with films. Dileep is now acting in the film ‘Swantham Lekhakan’, directed
by camera man turned director, P. Sukumar. Dileep now has a busy schedule. Dileep will also be acting in the Kamal film along
with Sathyaraj. This is Sathyaraj’s first Malayalam film. Dileep also has to complete the ‘Bodyguard’. Dileep has to go along
with the schedule of Nayanthara, the most busy actress in south India. Kamal’s new film will have Kashmir, Ootty, Theni,
Kodaikanal and Kambam as its shooting locations.
Prithvi to act with Mammootty
Prithviraj is acting as brother of Mammootty in a new film directed by Vishak, a new comer. The shooting will be held at Pollachi.
Earlier Prithviraj acted as Mammootty fan in the film ‘One way ticket’, which was a flop. Mammootty had a guest appearance in this film.
Vishak has worked as assistant with many major directors including Joshi. Prithviraj is acting as Mammootty’s younger
brother Sudhi. There will be two heroines. The remaining cast is yet to be determined. The shooting will start on December.
Samvrita Sunil in a Hindi film.
Samvrita Sunil is acting in a hindi film named White Elephant, directed by Jas khan. This film is jointly produced by NFDC and NDTV.
As the title suggests, this film is about an elephant. This story takes place in a village in Kerala. All other casts members are from the theatre.
Actor Jagdish to direct a Mammootty film.
It seems that Jagdish is changing the track, from acting to writing and direction. In spite of success in ‘To Harihar Nagar’, he is turning his attention to writing a script for a film. He is currently writing a script for a Viji thambi film ‘Ladies and Gentleman’. This is a comedy film. Well once again Jagdish and Siddique team are making a comeback in this film as a lead actors. Shooting will commence on October.
Jagdish is also planning a Mammootty film in 2010. He will be doing the script and direction of the film. Ajay Chandran Nair will be producing the film. He was the producer of the film like Chota Mumbai.
Yodha 2 in 3D !
It is heard that Santhosh Shivan is making the sequeal of ‘Yodha’, a super hit film of Mohanlas Jagathy team. There is a rumour that the film will be made in 3D. The shooting will commence on April next year, at locations like Nepal, New Zealand and Kerala.
Well, this time the story revolves around the young lama coming to Kerala. There is rumour that Hollywood cameraman Sean Kirby will be doing the camera with Santhosh Shivan. The cast will be same as of that of the Yodha.
This big budget film will also be produced in Hindi along with Malayalam. Priya rai will be the female lead. Music is done by Haris Jayraj.
Muthoot Paul murder case to be made into a film
The controversial Muthoot Paul murder case to be made into a film. Babu Antony will be the hero. Film is named as ‘Rathri 12.30’. Female lead will be a new comer.
Babu Antony will be playing as a journalist who will investigate the murder and reveal the real culprit behind the murder.
Shooting will be done at Kottayam and Alapuzha. This film is directed by Simon Kuruvila and script is written by CK Sashi.

Navya Nair has been trying eveything possible to stay rooted in the film industry. Though she has carved a small niche for
herself in the Malayalam film industry with a handful of movies like Kavyam Yugapurushan and Violet, she wants to make it
big. In the absence of actresses Kavya Madhavan and Gopika she had found it easy to secure her position. But if the latest
news reports are to be trusted, Gopika is contemplating a comeback to the film industry.
Navya has got her goals set and so she has decided to unleash the glamour side of hers in the Tamil film industry. In her upcoming Tamil movie Rasikkum Seemane with Srikanth in the lead hero role, she has done some steamy scenes but only after having made her conditions clear. When she specifically asked them not to hand over her revealing photos to the media channels, the director also kept the still photographer away from the location when the intense bedroom scenes were shot.
Quotation to murder director Vinayan
Vinayan recently revealed to the press that the notorious gunda Omprakash was given a contract to kill him. This contract was given by his rivals in the opposing film organisation. He said that he recieved this information from an unidentified man through a phone call. He has registered a complaint with the police. Is this another crime thriller action off the screen?
